Wow i did not expect a song literally note-for-note the same as Unreal. I know both had the same composers, but legit this is the exact same theme as Nagomi Passage in Unreal Gold. I just got the opportunity to play AOW for the first time ever so I never experienced the soundtrack for it. Jeez I missed out big time.

I know alot of comparisons on the Baseline are made to Pretty Little Hate Machine and Head Like A Hole specifically, but I'm surprised nibody brought up the more comparison to specifically the Devo cover of Head Like A Hole.

At least the Remake kept this in a pure form, even when not on MIDI. Also, the use of it during Citadel Station's destruction is just sublime.

Really good theme, as always, even if the Remake's music change is still very neat. In a sidenote, I really wish the Remake stayed as loyal to the original with the ending though. Would have loved seeing the personal refusal to sign up on TriOptimum and not a simple computer reminder, seeing TetraCorp of System Shock 2 be hacked, and the showcasing of the Terra Nova battle armor in a more modern take.

Really like this theme, although the Remake iteration is slowly growing on me.

Even if the Remake gets the option to switch to the OG music, am afraid this gem of a theme won't be replicated for its introduction. So much was changed and expanded upon there, you know.
